くいたりない【食い足りない】

1 〔十分に食べていない〕 have not eaten enough; still be hungry; want more to eat.

●あれだけ食べてまだ食い足りない顔をしている. He's eaten all that, and still looks hungry.

2 〔不満足である〕 〈人が主語〉 be unsatisfied; be dissatisfied 《with…》; 〈対象が主語〉 be unsatisfactory; leave something to be desired; 〔相手とするに足りない〕 find 《an opponent》 unworthy.

●あんな相手じゃ食い足りない. He is no match for me.

・そんな仕事じゃ食い足りない. That sort of work is too soft [easy] for me. | I could manage a tougher job.
